Job Title: Executive Script Assistant

Position Overview:

We are developing a documentary film showcasing India's space science and technology advancements. The role requires creativity, strong narrative skills, and research expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director in project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Support script development, treatments, and narrative structures for English-language scripts.
  • Conduct research on space initiatives, history, and related topics to enrich the documentary content.
  • Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics management.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring cultural relevance and accuracy.
  • Provide creative input for visual elements, graphics, and storyboarding.
  • Maintain alignment between the script and visual storytelling approach.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Film school student or recent graduate with a passion for scientific films
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis)
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual
