SAP Project System Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP PS consultant to work on projects and support SAP PS module activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on projects and collaborate with business teams to understand their requirements.
  • Handle client queries, user requirements, and application landscape modifications.
  • Coordinate between Information Systems, Basis, and IT Infrastructure teams for continuous support.
  • Understand business processes related to project management, sales, material management, and production planning.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager for transporting configurations or custom developments from DEV to PRD.
  • Support SAP PS calls adhering to SLA.
  • Mentor team members in functional and technical aspects.
  • Provide and review documentation throughout the document lifecycle.
  • Understand detailed technical specifications and identify performance-impacting issues.
  • Prepare and maintain technical development documentation (Technical Specifications).
  • Monitor process chains and background jobs.

Required Competencies:

  • Understanding of business processes and system mapping.
  • Process mapping technique and effective communication with business teams.
  • Independently handle all PS module requirements (customization, integration, FS, statutory compliance, etc.).
  • Expertise in all PS-related configurations in ECC & S/4 Hana environments.
  • Experience with migration activities from ECC to S/4 Hana, including data cutover activities.

Education and Experience:

  • Engineering graduate or post-graduation in systems.
  • SAP PS S/4 Hana certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an SAP PS consultant, with work on S/4 Hana and add-on tools of SAP EPPM.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP SD & PP (MRP run through PS module).
  • Knowledge of other project tools (MSP, Primavera, etc.).

Effective communication (written and verbal), team player.
