With a strong presence across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond, they specialize in co-creating cutting-edge solutions in key industries such as Telecommunications, Financial Services, Government, Transport, and Healthcare.Role Overview :We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior SAP PS (Project System) Consultant to join our dynamic SAP practice. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing, customizing, and optimizing SAP PS solutions to streamline our complex project and portfolio management lifecycle. You will work on large-scale, transformative S/4HANA projects, ensuring seamless integration with other core business functions to support our diverse and sophisticated project delivery needs.Key Responsibilities :- Lead and contribute to end-to-end SAP PS implementations, upgrades, and migration projects in an S/4 HANA environment.- Design and configure SAP PS master data structures including Project Definitions, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, and Activities.- Customize and maintain the SAP PS IMG in areas such as Project Profiles, Budgeting Profiles, Scheduling, Status Management, and Settlement Rules.- Configure and manage Results Analysis (RA) keys and methods for accurate Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Results Analysis calculations in project-centric environments.- Design and implement project-based cost and revenue planning, budgeting, and allocation processes.- Ensure robust integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules, particularly FI, CO, MM, SD, PM, and HCM.- Lead the functional design for project-related procurement, inventory management, and resource-related billing processes.- Develop comprehensive functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, enhancements (User Exits/BAdIs), and forms (RICEFW), guiding the technical team through development and testing.- Prepare detailed business process documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and user training materials.- Provide expert support and guidance to business users, resolving issues and advising on best practices in project management and financial controls.Key Skills and Experience RequiredA minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an SAP PS Consultant, with at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation project.Must-Have Technical Expertise : - In-depth knowledge of SAP PS master data and transactional processes.- Proven expertise in PS configuration : Project Profiles, WBS and Network profiles, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Settlement, and Results Analysis.- Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling (FI/CO) concepts and their integration with PS.- Hands-on experience with various enterprise processes : Engineer to Order (ETO), Make to Order (MTO), Capital Projects, and Internal Projects.- Experience in project-related procurement and integration with MM (Materials Management).Highly Desirable Skills : - Knowledge of integration points with CATS (Cross Application Time Sheet) and HR/HCM for time recording.- Experience with integrations to other enterprise systems like SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM/PPM+), SRM, and BI/BW for reporting.- Familiarity with Investment Management (IM) processes.- Exposure to the telecommunications, engineering, or IT services industry is a significant advantage.Soft Skills : - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global team environment.- Strong client-facing skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.- SAP S/4HANA Certification in Project System is a strong plus.
