Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Architect to join our organization. With 1-3 years of experience in database design, optimization, and management, the ideal candidate will be able to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance databases ensuring data integrity and supporting AI-driven applications.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our AI/Engineering teams to optimize storage, retrieval, and analytics pipelines. They will design, develop, and maintain scalable database architectures (SQL & NoSQL), optimize database queries, indexing, and performance tuning, ensure data security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop scalable database architectures (SQL & NoSQL) to support AI-driven applications.
  • Optimize database queries, indexing, and performance tuning for efficient data retrieval and storage.
  • Ensure Data Security and compliance by implementing robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Build and Maintain ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines.
  • Integrate databases with APIs, CRMs, and external systems for seamless data exchange.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability for optimal system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is a plus.
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Solid Understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL Scripting Skills for automation.
