Job Title: Technical Leadership PositionJoin our data engineering team as a technical leader, where you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions. About the Role:

The primary goal of this position is to provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, serving as a subject matter expert in data engineering and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to develop leading property and market data insights to power Real Commercial products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions, considering long-term scalability and maintainability;
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, serving as a subject matter expert in data engineering and related technologies;
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of data solutions, ensuring they meet performance targets and are highly reliable;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance policies, data quality standards, and data management processes;
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as automation, tooling enhancements, and process optimizations, to increase productivity and operational efficiency;
Requirements:
  • 8-13 years' experience as an experienced developer, who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys being hands-on tackling technical challenges;
  • Proven people leadership and mentoring experience;
  • Well-versed in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines;
  • Experience with Data modeling;
  • Experience with Data pipelines;
  • Experience with Data consumption;
  • Experience with Data analysis and documentation;
  • Experience with Data warehousing;
  • Has led development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or iterative releasing;
  • Knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, and infrastructure automation;
  • Demonstrates a commitment to code quality and a keen eye for detail;
