Lead Software Development Team

Overview:

You will lead a high-performing team of software engineers to deliver top-notch products on time with the highest levels of quality. Your experience in managing senior and junior engineers will be crucial in ensuring the success of our product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Agile methodologies and Scrum framework to ensure timely and quality delivery of product features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and Operations, to ensure smooth delivery and platform uptime.
  • Support product strategy and vision by collaborating with the Product Management team.
  • Participate in backlog refinement and assist in user story prioritization.
  • Define sprint scope, goal, and deliverables through collaboration with the product team and technical leads.
  • Develop, deploy, and improve SDLC processes in coordination with Product and QA teams.
  • Ensure all user stories are estimated, software designs created, and sprint dependencies met before sprint begins.
  • Assign tasks to team members and monitor sprint progress for timely delivery.
  • Ensure unit testing and peer code reviews are conducted regularly.
  • Provide periodic updates on sprint progress.
  • Identify and address sprint schedule bottlenecks in a timely manner.
  • Support production support team in addressing production issues and meeting SLAs.
  • Collaborate with Technical Architect to develop and deploy platform architecture aligned with product vision.
  • Deploy and institutionalize AI-assisted coding tools and guidelines.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, onboarding, coaching, and upskilling team members.
  • Define goals and objectives for the team and conduct performance reviews.
  • Send weekly reports to executive team.
