Job Title: Senior IT Operations Manager

Description:

The role of a Senior IT Operations Manager involves overseeing the technical support operations, ensuring that all requests, incidents, and problems are managed and resolved efficiently. This position requires effective management and coordination of urgent and complicated support issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate urgent and complicated support issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Train, coach, and mentor L1/L2 Technical Support Engineers to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Establish and implement ITIL standards in service delivery practices to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Act as an escalation point for all requests and incidents to provide guidance and support.
  • Lead IT and Support Helpdesk projects to ensure on-time and quality closure.
  • Maintain IT service desk policies, procedure documentation, records, and reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Foster positive end-user relationships and drive customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and maintain a Technical Support knowledge base to provide easy access to information and resources.
  • Recruit, select, orient, and train employees to develop personal growth opportunities and ensure a skilled workforce.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with direct reports to monitor performance and discuss successes and challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Engineering/Technical discipline with knowledge of servers, desktop OS, O365, networking, firewall, Windows AD, Domain controller, PC/Hardware/Tablets, software applications, server maintenance, etc.
  • At least 15 years of total IT experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Helpdesk/Service Desk management in Enterprise environment.
  • 24X5/7 Global Support Operations Management and ITIL Certification.
  • Strong leadership capability, deep IT/PC troubleshooting knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and problem-solving skills.
