Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Director, Software Engineering to lead our Software Engineering team in Bangalore. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our Wi-Fi Access Point product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in software engineering, including knowledge of WiFi standards and specifications.
  • Ensure the team follows best practices in software development, including continuous integration and delivery.
  • Identify and hire talented engineers to join our team.

Requirements:

  • 18+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Wi-Fi AP or equivalent product development.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, architecture, and testing.
  • Experience in leading large technical teams, including managers and working with multi-functional teams in different geographies.
  • Good understanding of WiFi chip vendor SDK architecture, design, and critical components.
  • Familiarity with Federal Security certifications like FIPS, CC/CSfC, USGv6, JITC, NIST, etc.
