Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned data engineer with expertise in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and architectures. This role is critical to both the development of new data products and the modernization of existing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Development and DevOps, as well as strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines. They will also be proficient in Python for data processing tasks and have a strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including networking, security, and cost optimization.

This individual will serve as a Cloud Development expert, mentoring and guiding other data engineers as they enhance their cloud skillsets. They will work closely with product managers, analysts, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions and contribute to the data platform modernization roadmap.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or equivalent technical role
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Development & DevOps experience
  • Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (networking, security, cost optimization)
