About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team at Intellias and contribute to the development of one of Europe's leading pet e-commerce platforms. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Product Owners, Area Architects, and colleagues to deliver high-quality features and solutions, supporting the transition to modern architectures.

Your primary focus will be on managing and enhancing CMS-related content, including the homepage, footer, and static landing pages. You will also help develop custom extensions and handle CMS persistence scripting. Working in a collaborative Agile environment, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a meaningful impact on the experience of over 11 million customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams to create customizable components for CMS Contentful.
  • Design, develop, and maintain frontend solutions using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
  • Implement automated testing at various levels, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment processes.
  • Deploy and maintain applications on the cloud using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Participate in technical and architectural discussions to identify optimal solutions.
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues, guiding them on requirements, coding best practices, and problem-solving.
  • Reduce technical debt by maintaining and improving existing applications.
  • Foster a DevOps mindset, ensuring high-quality delivery through continuous delivery and clean code practices.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with strong styling skills (CSS/SASS).
  • Experience with Next.js.
  • Proficiency with modern frameworks like React.
  • Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Ability to understand full architectural landscapes and independently implement new features.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate in a team.
  • Experience in Agile practices and participating in the full development cycle.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Previous experience in the e-commerce domain.
