Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our Mobile Apps Team as a Senior iOS Engineer and contribute to the enhancement of our e-commerce platform, catering to over 11 million users across Europe.

You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Architect, and team members to deliver new features and continuously improve the performance of our mobile applications.

This position allows you to work on a highly successful e-commerce platform, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies such as Swift, SwiftUI, XCTest, and AWS, while contributing to the complete software development lifecycle from discovery and coding to deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Closely collaborate with the Product Owner and team in an Agile environment to estimate, plan, and align on solutions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain features for our iOS apps using modern technologies.
  • Promote and implement test automation, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Build and publish new app versions using Bitrise and the Apple Developer Portal.
  • Debug, profile, and monitor apps to ensure top-notch performance and quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Maintain existing applications, reducing technical debt while adhering to best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into the mobile apps.
Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Excellent English skills;
  • 6+ years of experience in iOS development.
  • Hands-on experience with SwiftUI, Combine, multithreading (Swift Concurrency, GCD), Firebase, and networking tools (e.g., URLSession).
  • Expertise in testing (unit, integration, UI) using XCTest or similar frameworks.
  • Proven ability to independently implement new features and debug applications.
  • A product-oriented mindset with a deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and principles.
  • Strong communication skills and an empathetic, collaborative attitude.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with A/B testing and feature flags.
  • Experience with localization of mobile applications.
