Market Entry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Entry Specialist to support foreign companies in their market entry and expansion strategies in India.

About the Role:

  • The Market Entry Specialist will play a critical role in conducting in-depth market research on industries, competitors, regulations, and customer segments relevant to client projects.
  • Key Responsibilities include mapping the regulatory and compliance landscape in India (FSSAI, CDSCO, BIS, GST, import duties, etc.) and preparing checklists/reports for clients.
  • Additionally, the Specialist will build and maintain a database of potential Indian distributors, agents, vendors, and trade associations relevant to clients.
  • Assisting in partner identification and outreach is also a crucial aspect of this role.
  • The Specialist will prepare client-ready deliverables: presentations, reports, and market-entry playbooks.
  • Cordination with international clients on timelines, queries, and progress updates will be required.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery is essential.
  • Supporting business development by drafting proposals, case studies, and insights is an important part of this role.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's in Business, International Trade, Economics, Marketing, or related fields is preferred.
  • 1–4 years of experience in research, consulting, international trade, or business development is ideal.
  • Fresher MBAs with strong analytical skills may also apply.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong analytical & research abilities are essential for this role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to create structured presentations & reports is necessary.
  • Good knowledge of Indian regulatory and business environment is desired.
  • Familiarity with and B2B databases is beneficial.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously are crucial.
