Murex Test Automation

We are seeking a seasoned Automated Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Murex testing and a passion for automation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for Murex modules. They will work closely with business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Murex modules (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Interfaces, etc.)
  • Automation Tool Expertise: Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automation tools
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with Murex business analysts, developers, and support teams to understand requirements and validate system behavior
  • Automation Frameworks and Reusability: Implement automation frameworks and ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability of scripts
  • Defect Tracking and Retesting: Defect tracking, logging, and retesting in coordination with development teams
  • Test Planning and Execution: Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution cycles
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of overall experience in Murex testing
  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience in Murex automation Tools
  • Murex Architecture: Strong understanding of Murex architecture and workflows (FO, BO, Risk, Accounting, and Interfaces)
  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, or similar) for automation
  • Test Management Tools: Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, or similar)
  • SQL Knowledge: Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries for test data validation
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
