Visual Effects Artist Opportunity

Establish a strong foundation in the field of real-time visual effects by joining our team as a skilled Visual Effects Artist. This exciting opportunity will enable you to develop and implement visually stunning and performance-optimized visual effects for characters, environments, and gameplay events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, and implement real-time visual effects that enhance gameplay, storytelling, and atmosphere.
  • Work closely with art and design teams to ensure all effects align with the game's artistic vision and technical constraints.
  • Collaborate with designers and animators to ensure VFX support gameplay clarity and narrative immersion.
  • Optimize effects for real-time performance on PC and console targets.
  • Iterate based on feedback from supervisors and team-members.
  • Maintain a consistent visual style across all effects, aligned with the game's art direction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 5's Niagara particle systems.
  • Strong knowledge of shader programming (HLSL) and material editing.
  • Familiarity with VFX tools such as Houdini, Nuke, AfterEffects.
  • Understanding of real-time optimization techniques for visual effects.
  • Experience creating effects for both stylized and semi-realistic art styles.
  • 2+ years in game development, preferably on shipped titles.
  • A portfolio/reel showcasing a range of high-quality real-time VFX.
