U.S. Tax Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled U.S. Tax Supervisor to join our team of accounting and consulting professionals.

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced tax professional to utilize their knowledge and expertise in partnership taxation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing U.S. Tax Returns, conducting independent tax research, collaborating with team members, overseeing tax processes, and managing multiple projects.

A strong understanding of US income tax laws, as well as the ability to develop and train new and experienced staff, is essential for this role.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Proficiency in CCH Axcess tax software, Caseware, Microsoft Office applications, and expert knowledge in tax research software (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint, Intelliconnect) is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & Review U.S. Tax Returns: Partnerships (PE/HF/FOF)
  • Conduct Independent Tax Research
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Ensure timeliness and effective communication on engagements
  • Oversee Tax Processes: Coordinate interactions, review engagement work product, drive delivery, develop internal team members, and manage functional efforts
  • Manage Multiple Projects: Prioritize, manage others, meet deadlines, and demonstrate exceptional client relationship management skills

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in partnership taxation
  • Qualification: CA, CA Inter, CPA, EA, MBA Finance, M.COM, B.com, BBA
  • Knowledge of US income tax laws
  • Develop and train new and experienced staff
  • Exercise initiative and sound judgement
  • Responsive to clients
  • Strong writing, Excel modeling, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
