Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled procurement professional to fill this role.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement and a solid understanding of strategic sourcing, forecasting, and vendor management.

Key responsibilities include devising and implementing effective procurement strategies, exploring profitable suppliers, building long-term relationships with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for preparing block estimates, BOQs, and reviewing contract specifications on behalf of the organization.

Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for this position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing and utilizing successful procurement and sourcing strategies.
  • Exploring lucrative suppliers and establishing procurement partnerships.
  • Building lasting relationships with vendors in the industry.
  • Preparing Block Estimates for all projects.
  • Preparing BOQ's and obtaining necessary approvals from all stakeholders.
  • Soliciting proposals as per BOQ's.
  • Comparing proposals for price and specifications.
  • Negotiating with vendors to reduce costs.
  • Reviewing contract specifications on behalf of the organization.
  • Assisting in finalizing vendors.
  • Communicating with vendors to ensure that the product arrives in a timely fashion.
