Financial Leadership Role

The Financial Management Director oversees core accounting functions, including financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, and analysis to drive business decision-making.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops financial strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Leads monthly and quarterly close processes in accordance with GAAP, reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Manages and updates financial systems, monitoring team task completion, preparing audit schedules, and coordinating external audits.
Billing Oversight & Controls

Oversees customer billing, including transportation, warehouse, and specialty services. Ensures accurate and timely invoicing and revenue recognition per ASC 606 standards.

Expense & Accounting Operations

Manages full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice review, approvals, and payments. Coordinates payroll, insurance, lease accounting, and bank reconciliations.

System & Process Optimization

Leverages ERP systems to automate workflows and improve data accuracy, demonstrating proficiency in Infor SyteLine, NetSuite, SAP, and reporting tools like Prophix.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance

Partners with HR, Operations, and Sales to ensure cohesive and accurate financial reporting, monitoring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1-3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as Infor SyteLine, NetSuite, SAP and reporting tools like Prophix.
  • Hands-on experience with expense management systems such as Concur and Ramp, including reconciliation best practices.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 842 lease accounting and its impact on operations.
