Financial Analyst Position

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant based in Oak Lawn, IL.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing financial advice to management.

Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, tax preparation, budgeting, and financial planning. The role also involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and offering strategic insights to optimize financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Financial Records: Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Prepare Financial Statements: Prepare and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Audits: Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide Financial Advice: Offer expert financial guidance to management, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in financial record management, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in financial analysis, financial planning, and budgeting.
  • Certifications: Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Bonus Points: Experience in the healthcare industry, proficiency in QuickBooks.
