Job Title: Software Engineer

 

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team.

 

The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science and experience with C++ development.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new product features using Agile methodologies.
  • Be part of the L3 support team and investigate and resolve issues as they arise in the product or reported by customers.
  • Document design alternatives, design decisions, development progress, and unit test results in our Change Management system.
  • Provide information to and work effectively with our Documentation, Quality Engineering, and Performance teams.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in C/C++ and ability to perform C/C++ runtime debugging.
  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows system APIs for networking, files, and file systems, access control, and process management.
  • Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
  • Knowledge of at least two Windows and UNIX/Linux scripting languages (Perl, Windows batch, UNIX shell).
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience administering either UNIX/Linux or Windows.
  • Ability to work well independently and within our geographically dispersed Agile development environment.
