We are seeking a seasoned Academic Leader to drive excellence in our Middle School. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of modern pedagogical practices and curriculum design, with exceptional observation, feedback, and coaching skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • School Improvement Oversight
    • Monitor lesson plans from all teachers to ensure alignment with modern pedagogical strategies and curriculum standards.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to enhance instructional delivery.
  • Teacher Support & Development
    • Offer ongoing coaching and mentoring to enhance lesson planning and instructional delivery.
    • Conduct follow-up workshops and training sessions to reinforce modern teaching methods.
  • Classroom Evaluations
    • Conduct formal and informal classroom evaluations to assess teaching effectiveness.
    • Share targeted, actionable feedback with teachers to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Prepare regular academic performance and teaching quality reports for school leadership.
    • Maintain open communication with senior leaders to address challenges and track progress.
  • Academic Quality Assurance
    • Ensure consistent implementation of school-approved teaching and learning strategies.
    • Collaborate with leadership to make informed decisions that enhance instructional quality.

Essential Skills & Qualifications include: Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities, Data-driven approach to tracking academic performance, Proven ability to integrate technology seamlessly into all aspects of academic planning, instruction, and monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in an academic leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing teaching and learning improvements at scale.
