We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Researcher to join our research team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced professional to contribute to cutting-edge research in Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of Professors Devendra G. Patil and Sandeep Jose on a two-year project focused on developing High Damping Shock Isolators for Optronics Signatures.

The primary responsibilities of this role include conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and developing novel solutions using Finite Element Method and Numerical Analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, fundamental knowledge of Design Engineering, Vibration Controls, Smart Materials, and System Dynamics.

To be successful in this position, you will need a Postgraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computational Mechanics, and have passed National Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET or GATE. Experience with instrumentation, programming, and problem-solving is also essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your research skills, work with industrial collaborators, and hone your expertise in damping systems for real-life engineering applications. You will also have the chance to apply for a full-time Ph.D. program at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus, as per institute norms.
