Site Reliability Engineer Position

This is a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment focused on innovation and challenging the status quo in infrastructure technology. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a highly critical operational role, applying a combination of software and systems engineering skills to develop and maintain distributed, real-time systems that serve key stakeholders in the firm's Global business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize the operations of existing systems and infrastructure through automation and tooling, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Build out foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems, both new and existing.
  • Collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across user interactions.
  • Monitor system capacity and performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and sources of instability before they affect stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell; ability to comprehend C# and develop basic applications.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible).
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
