Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling second-level support and service requests, providing technical support for networking, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for networking such as WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless and security.
  • Implement and support remote access solutions such as IPSEC VPN.
  • Develop an understanding of DNS/DHCP.
  • Work with vendor support to resolve client issues.
  • Utilize Command Line Interfaces to manage computer equipment.
  • Offer IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.
  • Respond to and resolve alerts and tickets generated from the monitoring system and/or customer requests in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent education or training desired.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a network engineer including phone, remote support, and hands on.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience installing/configuring routers, switches, VPNs, firewalls (Cisco, Sophos, Palo Alto).
