Backend Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team and help us build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js, TypeScript, and related tools, as well as experience working with monorepo setups, CI/CD workflows, and Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have proficiency in cloud services such as AWS and/or GCP, and experience with AI frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI.

Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js, working within a monorepo architecture to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases, implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, and containerizing and orchestrating services with Docker and Kubernetes.

The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring backend systems follow best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability, and conducting load and performance testing to ensure system reliability under scale.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and related tools.
  • Experience working with monorepo setups (Turborepo, Nx).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD workflows and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Cloud experience with AWS and/or GCP services (compute, networking, storage).
  • Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP, etc.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Solid knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ORMs such as Drizzle or Prisma.
