Sourcing Expert Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned Sourcing Expert to spearhead our procurement initiatives and drive strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology procurement within financial services, with expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance.

  • Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies that deliver value, speed, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to controls, audits, and regulatory obligations throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
  • Manage contract remediation, including data privacy, OCIR, and country-specific terms.
  • Negotiate and oversee third-party supplier control obligations and support stakeholders with vendor engagement risks.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and buying channel optimization.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and sourcing best practices to enhance category management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services. They will possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills, as well as leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational excellence.

  • Experience in contractual review and redlining is essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills are required to influence and collaborate across divisions.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in operational/core sourcing teams in technology is desirable.
  • Regulatory remediation experience (data privacy, OCIR, etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks and governance practices is beneficial.
