Technical Services Leader

The Technical Services Leader is responsible for leading a team of Service Engineers to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective technical support to customers.

  • Maintaining high technician engagement levels.
  • Optimizing revenue from the Technical Assistance department.
  • Upholding a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Team leadership and allocation of Service Engineers based on customer call priorities and technical requirements.
  • Forecasting and planning man-days required for upcoming installations and service interventions in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Driving profitability and efficiency of the Technical Assistance department.

This role involves strategic planning, resource allocation and coordination with both internal teams and global counterparts.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and team management capabilities, technical expertise in machine commissioning, PLC systems and troubleshooting.

A good understanding of CRM/helpdesk platforms for ticket management is also essential.

The selected candidate will be responsible for escalating critical issues to internal leadership.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical services leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
