Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled FPGA Designer to lead the development of complex digital systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical/electronic engineering, experience with RTL languages (VHDL or Verilog), and expertise in Xilinx FPGA Tools Design Flow (Vivado, Chipscope, Quartus).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with system architects to define system architecture and determine FPGA interface with other components on PCA board.
  • Choose appropriate FPGA based on project requirements and ensure timing closure for complex designs.
  • Develop detailed FPGA designs, hardware-software interface documents, and product definition documents.
  • Work closely with R&D Project Manager, Product Architects, Solution Teams, FPGA developers, Software Qualification, and Software Engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 7+ years of R&D experience in FPGA development (Altera, Xilinx).
  • Experience with EDA Functional Simulation tools (Synopsys, Mentor, Cadence).
  • Excellent written skills for creating technical documents.
