About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our database team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of data architecture, performance optimization, and database security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement database solutions using Oracle database technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and optimize database efficiency.
  • Specialize in Oracle RAC and demonstrate a deep understanding of its complexity across servers, OS, network, and storage layers.
  • Work on Oracle Engineered systems such as Exadata, SSC box, and ExaCM.
  • Refine SQL queries to improve performance and diagnose issues from SQL to Application to Database to System to Storage.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills and ability to traverse infrastructure layers to diagnose issues.
  • Expertise in HA features of Oracle database and complete understanding of backup recovery options.
  • Manage high-pressure production environments on various flavors of OS.
Qualifications
  • 18+ years of experience in database administration.
  • Prior working experience in Telecom or BFSI companies.
  • Mandatory Skills - RAC (Installation, Upgradation, and Management)
  • Database backup and recovery
  • DB Migration and performance tuning

Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
