Strategic Procurement Leader - Luxury Real Estate


Job Summary

This role involves leading the procurement and contracting function for high-end real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional negotiation skills, deep knowledge of premium materials, global sourcing expertise, and the ability to manage strategic vendor partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely sourcing of world-class materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings.
  • Identify and onboard premium suppliers, artisans, and global brands to meet project design intent and quality benchmarks.
  • Forecast procurement budgets and timelines in coordination with project, design, and finance teams.
Vendor & Supplier Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with reputable national and international vendors.
  • Conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance with quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts, ensuring optimal cost without compromising quality or exclusivity.
Contracts Management
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts with contractors, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring legal and commercial safeguards.
  • Monitor contract execution, variations, claims, and dispute resolution in collaboration with legal teams.
  • Ensure all contracts adhere to statutory requirements and corporate governance policies.
Cost Control & Value Engineering
  • Lead value engineering exercises without diluting design aesthetics or material quality.
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options to ensure cost competitiveness.
  • Approve purchase orders within delegated authority limits.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team.
  • Work closely with project management, design, and construction teams to align procurement schedules with project milestones.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between procurement, logistics, and site execution teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Commerce; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in procurement and contracts, with at least 7 years in leadership roles within luxury real estate.
  • Proven track record in sourcing premium international materials, finishes, and fixtures.
  • Strong legal and commercial acumen in contract management.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor relationship, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to global procurement markets and luxury design trends.
