Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced fleet manager to oversee the daily operations of our heavy vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and be able to manage both technical and logistical aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the complete fleet operations, ensuring smooth and efficient running of all vehicles
  • Manage scheduling, maintenance, servicing, and breakdown management for all vehicles under the company
  • Coordinate between drivers, workshop teams, and operations management to achieve optimal results
  • Track and optimize fuel usage, vehicle performance, and downtime to reduce costs
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports related to fleet performance and maintenance schedules
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8-9 years of experience in managing heavy vehicles, with a focus on tippers
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage both technical and logistical aspects
  • Familiarity with fleet management software is a plus
  • The successful candidate must be a local resident with hands-on experience in tipper operation and maintenance supervision
