Senior Operations Manager - Financial Services

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team in the financial services industry. As a Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in service delivery, leadership, and strategic growth.

About the Role

The Senior Operations Manager will oversee the Accounts Payable/Receivable functions for a specific geographic region and partner with stakeholders within the Finance Shared Service Organization and business units. This role requires strong business modeling skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform autonomously, initiating and managing complex work.
  • Manage group workload and establish priorities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance and best practices.
  • Serve as a consultant or lead on projects and areas of finance or support of a business.
  • Act as an escalation point in resolving complex outstanding issues with internal and external business partners.
  • Participate in recruiting efforts and continually raise the bar.
  • Drive execution of vision and goals for the team.
  • Responsible for developing and communicating team or department vision and goals.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Account Payable.
  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analysis.
  • 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making.
  • 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
  • 3+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 3+ members.
  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
  • 4+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause, and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
