Job Role:

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key position that supports operational project teams financially throughout the life cycle of a project.

  • This role involves providing financial assistance to project teams in various aspects of running a clinical trial, including financial analysis and variance assessment.
  • Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of monthly invoicing worksheets, reviewing work orders and change order budgets to identify out-of-scope activities, and participating in monthly project review meetings as needed.
  • Additionally, this role requires collaborating with the Company Accountant to provide support for financial reporting and general ledger functions, ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
Required Skills:

This position demands a combination of technical skills and soft skills. Key requirements include:

  • Strong accounting skills, including working knowledge of general ledger and financial reporting.
  • Excellent Excel/PC skills and ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the country where the position is based.
  • Competencies such as working knowledge of the life cycle of a project, knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, or equivalent experience in accounting discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related business discipline.
  • At least 5 years' experience in general ledger and financial reporting, including working knowledge of all areas of the accounting cycle.
