Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in planning and scheduling projects from start to finish.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. They will also develop detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deadlines.

In addition, the Project Planner will work with design teams to ensure that design specifications align with project timelines and resources. They will review and analyze design documents to identify potential scheduling impacts and facilitate communication between design teams and construction teams to address any issues or changes.

The Project Planner will also be responsible for identifying and allocating necessary resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements. They will monitor resource utilization and implement adjustments to optimize efficiency and coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Other responsibilities include tracking project progress against the schedule, identifying any deviations or delays, and preparing and presenting regular progress reports to stakeholders. The Project Planner will also assist in the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure design specifications align with project timelines and resources.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources to meet project requirements.
  • Track project progress and prepare regular progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) as a Planning Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
