Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the excellence of our software products. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in guaranteeing the quality and reliability of our applications.

  • Conduct comprehensive manual and automation testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Appium to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and create effective test plans that meet project objectives.
  • Validate backend functionalities through API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
  • Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git for seamless deployment.
  • Participate in an Agile development environment, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Effectively communicate test results, defects, and risks to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in both manual and automation testing with a strong understanding of testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium or Appium to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Basic programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript to develop custom testing solutions.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured to validate backend functionalities.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git for automated pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to optimize application performance.
  • Familiarity with database testing and SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
  • Background in mobility or ride-hailing service QA teams to bring industry-specific expertise.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating technical proficiency.
