Job Title: Data Engineering Leader

Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced technical leader to join our team as a Data Engineering Manager. As a key member of our Commercial Data team in Advertising, you will be responsible for developing leading property and market data insights to power Real Commercial products.
  • As a subject matter expert in data engineering and related technologies, you will provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the design and architecture of scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions that meet long-term scalability and maintainability requirements.
  • You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery practices, implement shift-left testing practices, and optimize data processing workflows and systems to enhance efficiency and meet performance targets.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 8-13 years of experience as a developer, with expertise in SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data pipelines, data consumption, data analysis and documentation, and data warehousing.
  • Proven people leadership and mentoring experience, with a commitment to code quality and security.
  • Experience leading development teams using Agile, Lean, and/or iterative releasing approaches, with knowledge of delivery approaches such as TDD, CI, and infrastructure automation.
  • Ability to foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
