Business Education Leader Wanted

Are you a visionary academic leader seeking to make a lasting impact in business education? Do you possess exceptional research and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that drive pedagogical excellence?

  • We are looking for a distinguished Professor and Chair to lead our academic efforts in business education. As a key member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for researching, developing, writing, and publishing high-quality business case studies for academic instruction, publication, and use in teaching.
  • You will collaborate with faculty to clarify pedagogical objectives, learning outcomes, and case formats. This will enable you to create engaging and relevant case studies that meet the needs of both students and academics.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to write case studies that include background context, decision points, alternative courses of action, supporting data, and teaching notes. You must ensure factual accuracy through verification and citations; maintain academic integrity.
  • You will also support the process of preparing cases for external publishing, case competitions, or inclusion in printed/in-house outlets. This may involve revisions of drafts based on feedback from faculty/stakeholders to ensure clarity, relevancy, engagement.
  • Maintaining project timelines and managing multiple case writing assignments simultaneously is also crucial.

Required Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in Business / Management / Case Writing / Communications, or related field; PhD preferred.
  • Proven publication record: at least 10 completed and published case studies or similar works such as detailed business reports with teaching notes.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English; ability to compose narratives that are analytically strong, engaging, and pedagogically sound.
  • Strong research skills, including interviewing, data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with business case formats, and experience in academic settings or business school pedagogies.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with faculty and stakeholders.
  • Good time management skills and ability to deliver under deadlines.
