Job Title: Pricing Specialist

Reports to: Pricing Manager

Grade: 21

Experience:0-3 yrs

Job Summary:

  • Enter item level detail information in the price book system.
  • Set up new vendors and update product information.
  • Create promotions for stores and understand the Point of Sale interface.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Input and maintain item level detail information in the price book system.
  • Enter new and updated item level pricing and monthly promotional activity from multiple vendors in the Pricebook.
  • Maintain and clean up Pricebook data; ensure regular upkeep of item information and discontinuing of old items.
  • Collaborate daily with Operations, Accounting, Marketing, and Vendor Partners.
  • Identify, research, and resolve problems through reporting and other means.
  • Able to solve problems on the first call.
  • Escalate calls as needed.
  • Respond to all calls, emails, and personnel requests within the same day.
  • Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support the retail price book.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PDI/Price Book experience a plus.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Willing to learn store applications including PDI software.
  • Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up.
  • Excellent data entry & communication skills.
  • Articulate in verbal and written communications.
  • Team player and flexible to changing assignments and direction.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Multi-tasking skills.
