Financial Consolidation Manager Position

We are looking for an experienced financial professional to lead our General Ledger (GL) consolidation and Management Information System (MIS) reporting efforts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial consolidation across multiple business units/entities, delivering insightful MIS reports for strategic decision-making, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end and year-end GL closing activities to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Consolidate financial data from multiple business units/entities using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Perform inter company reconciliations and eliminate intercompany transactions to maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent chart of accounts across entities to facilitate efficient financial reporting.
  • Support statutory audit, internal audit, and compliance processes by providing relevant GL data.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual financial results, and provide actionable commentary.
  • Provide key financial insights and dashboards to inform business reviews and management decision-making.
  • Streamline and automate consolidation and MIS processes using ERP and reporting tools to improve efficiency.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements in reporting and consolidation practices to enhance overall performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance with at least 4-5 years' experience in accounts & finance.
  • Proven expertise in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
