Software Systems Developer (RPG/AS400)

We are seeking a skilled Software Systems Developer with expertise in RPG/AS400 programming to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • iSeries/AS400 Application Development: Develop and maintain robust iSeries/AS400 applications using advanced concepts like procedures, service programs, functions, and free RPG coding syntax.
  • Database Design and Optimization: Design and optimize database structures, ensuring high uptime and availability for reporting purposes.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client requirements. Provide technical support during testing, deployment, and post-deployment phases.
Requirements:
  • Experience and Expertise: 5-10 years of experience in iSeries/AS400/RPG Programming. Strong knowledge of SQLRPGLE, Query/400, and CL & OS/400 commands.
  • Technical Skills: Experience creating, building, and maintaining different libraries in an AS/400 environment. Excellent understanding of Database, DDS, sub files, RPG III or later & RPGLE programming concepts.
  • Additional Qualifications: Hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment is desired.
