We are currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to fill a challenging position in our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks for sheet metal components and assemblies, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Develop fabrication drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and technical documentation for production processes, guaranteeing seamless integration and quality control.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet client requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and customization of existing designs as per client specifications, leveraging expertise in sheet metal design and fabrication.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to sheet metal development processes, including flat patterns, bending allowances, tolerances, and welding considerations, to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Possess strong technical knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Demonstrate ability to prepare development drawings, exploded views, and assembly drawings, showcasing attention to detail and creativity.
  • Understand and apply principles of tolerances, GD&T, welding symbols, and material specifications, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Exhibit good visualization and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
