Are you a seasoned professional in data engineering with expertise in distributed computing and big data technologies?

  • We are seeking an experienced Spark and Scala developer to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and developing large-scale data processing pipelines using Apache Spark, Spark SQL, and Spark Streaming.
  • You will also be responsible for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Scala code following industry best practices.
  • A strong understanding of Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, and other big data technologies is required.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL concepts and techniques is essential.
  • Expertise in database concepts and SQL/NoSQL operations is necessary.
  • Knowledge of UNIX shell scripting is an added advantage in scheduling and running application jobs.
  • You will work in an agile environment, participating in daily standups, sprint planning reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Translate project requirements into technical solutions that meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends in development.
