Job Overview

This is a high-level data engineer role that involves creating and maintaining large-scale data systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and building efficient data pipelines to collect, process, and store large volumes of data in Snowflake.
  • Developing ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  • Operating and optimizing cloud infrastructure to support data pipelines and processing tasks.
  • Crafting optimized data models and schemas for improved performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Maintaining clear documentation and participating in code reviews to enhance the overall quality of the codebase.
  • Implementing robust data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborating with product management and software engineers to integrate data solutions into applications and services.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in a related field with a bachelor's degree;
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL pipelines, and Snowflake;
  • Hands-on experience with dbt, Databricks, and handling large datasets with DataFrames;
  • Ability to transform complex data into easily understood, actionable information;
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
  • Mastery of big data platforms and ability to implement best practices.
