We are seeking an experienced Senior Solar PV Project Engineer to lead the design and development of solar PV projects from concept to commissioning.
- Project Design and Development:
- Develop detailed engineering designs for solar PV projects, evaluating site-specific conditions for technical feasibility.
- Lead plant layout design, electrical single-line diagrams, cable routing, and system integration.
- Ensure compliance with grid codes, regulatory norms, and utility interconnection requirements.
- Technical Evaluation and Optimization:
- Conduct energy yield assessments and performance simulations to optimize project design for lowest LCOE while ensuring reliability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with project development, land, regulatory, and commercial teams to provide engineering support for bids, RFP responses, and financial models.
The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Solar PV Project Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of solar PV technology and experience leading IDT & Power Transformer Design reviews, tracking and closing MDL with EPC contractors or Engineering Consultants, and understanding renewable power evacuation systems (substations, transmission lines).
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Solar PV Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of solar PV projects, including:
- Developing detailed engineering designs for solar PV projects.
- Leading plant layout design, electrical single-line diagrams, cable routing, and system integration.
- Ensuring compliance with grid codes, regulatory norms, and utility interconnection requirements.
Requirements:

- A strong understanding of solar PV technology.
- Experience leading IDT & Power Transformer Design reviews.
