Biorad Medisys Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Senior Medical Device System Architect to lead the development of cutting-edge medical devices by overseeing software and hardware engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in system design and architecture, managing cross-functional teams, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions for medical devices from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a strong team of software and hardware engineers to build novel medical devices.
- Manage and deliver system design projects, working closely with key stakeholders like Innovation, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
- Promotional plans and strategy development.
- Experience in managing both software and hardware teams is essential.
- Maintain complete control over system design/architecture/hardware/firmware/FPGA Processors etc.
- Release specs for prototyping, pilot, and production stages.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
- 15+ years of experience in system design and development within the medical device industry.
- Proven track record in leading and managing teams responsible for software and hardware development.
- Deep understanding of system architecture, hardware design, and firmware development, with hands-on experience in FPGA processors.
Tech Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of hardware design processes, embedded systems, firmware, and FPGA.
- Familiarity with the development and integration of medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards (IEC 60601, ISO 13485).
- Proficiency in prototyping, design validation, and transitioning from pilot production to full-scale manufacturing.
- Knowledge of cloud-based solutions, IoT in medical devices, and data management systems.
- Experience in risk management and compliance with international medical device regulatory standards (FDA, MDR, etc.).
- Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations, PCB design, and system integration.
Estimated Salary: ₹45 lakhs - ₹60 lakhs per annum
