Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fraud Investigations Manager to join our team at First Abu Dhabi Bank. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to lead a diverse team of Fraud Investigators and contribute to the development of a comprehensive global fraud investigation framework.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Fraud Investigators in alignment with the bank's fraud policy and response plan. The role entails ensuring that all occurrences of fraud, whether confirmed or suspected, are thoroughly investigated to produce detailed investigation reports containing pertinent recommendations for consumption by relevant stakeholders.
The Senior Fraud Investigations Manager will establish rigorous investigation standards and SOPs to ensure effective governance. They will identify emerging risks and trends, collaborate with departmental peers to develop mitigation measures, and maximize recovery opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Fraud Investigators in executing the departments' investigative mandate
- Ensure investigations standards are adhered to by the Investigators and develop departmental SOPs to support core investigation processes
- Regularly measure and report on investigations performance to metrics to demonstrate effectiveness and efficiency of the function
- Actively participate in planning and execution of complex, sensitive, or high-value related investigations under the guidance of Group Head of Fraud Investigations
- Collaborate with external parties such as Police and Public Prosecution where required
- Network with industry peers to share intelligence and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Law, Finance, Business, or a related field
- At least 5 years' experience in fraud investigations, preferably in the banking sector
- At least 2 years' leadership experience managing a team of people
- In-depth understanding of banking operations
- Sound knowledge of law and criminal justice procedures
Estimated Salary: AED 250,000 - AED 350,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
