Job Opportunity: Linux Systems Administrator

Candidates with extensive experience managing Linux operating systems are required to drive business growth and success.

  • Manage Linux operating systems (RedHat 6/7/8, CentOS)
  • Perform general Unix/Linux administration tasks such as building and configuring VMs, software package installation, account maintenance, file permissions, system tuning
  • Develop skills in Shell scripting, LVM, TCP/UDP, SNMP, DNS, NFS, ssh, sudo, syslog
  • Troubleshoot performance issues, manage system services, harden systems
  • Release management and patching
  • Understand TCP/IP networking in LAN/WAN environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Linux systems administrator or equivalent education/training
  • Degree resulting in an associate or bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and relevant certifications
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ticketing systems
  • Experience with enterprise systems for monitoring
