Web Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Web Development Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading the development of scalable and maintainable web solutions using modular and reusable components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the building of scalable and maintainable web solutions using modular and reusable components.
  • Drive new development efforts for our component-based web systems, ensuring proper integration with our underlying content management system.
  • Provide high-level direction on front-end architecture and technical design/implementation of our websites.
  • Maintain and improve overall performance of our websites, ensuring compliance with current standards and best practices.
  • Review team designs and provide feedback on deployment safety, resilience, scale, performance, and security.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of extensive experience with Drupal architecture, APIs, and module development.
  • Proficiency in the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js).
  • Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with website Search technologies and solutions like OpenSearch, Solr, and Elastic Search.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
