Accounting Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional with 3-5 years of experience in private accounting to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in day-to-day accounting operations, including process cash receipts and maintain A/R subledger, process cash disbursements and maintain A/P subledger, payroll processing through payroll provider and accounting software, maintain the general ledger.

  • Reconcile cash, credit card, and other asset and liability accounts for month end and year end, maintaining support worksheets for each.
  • Provide administrative support as assigned by supervisor under guidance.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in accounting or related field, or similar training or on-the-job experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in the job offered or as an accountant in private accounting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Microsoft GP, Sage Intacct, etc
  • Ability to work independently with some supervision and manage multiple engagements simultaneously
