Storage Architect Expert

About This Role :

We're seeking a seasoned Storage Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of high-performance storage solutions for our clients.

This individual will leverage their expertise in storage protocols, architectures, and integrations to drive innovation and excellence in our Professional Services organization.

The ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of hands-on experience across multiple vendor ecosystems and technologies, with a strong understanding of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, and S3.

They will collaborate closely with Engineering teams to inform design decisions and troubleshoot complex storage-related issues, ensuring seamless integration with diverse storage solutions.

This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, strong communication and presentation abilities, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and document best practice architectures for integrating our flagship product with various storage backends.
  • Guide and support integrations with vendor-specific storage solutions, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Participate in solution validation, lab testing, and reference architecture development.

Required Skills :

  • Deep knowledge of storage protocols and architectures, including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS and S3.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex storage performance and connectivity issues across multi-vendor environments.
  • Strong understanding of VMware environments, including vSphere and storage connectivity options.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience developing automation scripts or tools for storage provisioning and integration (Python, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.).
  • Proven experience in system integration projects involving storage systems.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes persistent storage concepts.
