Job Role:

A Network Storage Architect is needed to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services.

  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of distributed storage systems, including Ceph, ZFS, and NFS technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing scalable storage solutions for hybrid and cloud-native environments
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems
  • Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration and infrastructure reliability
  • Documenting architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles
  • Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering

The role involves working on various cloud projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation initiatives. Experience in regulated environments is beneficial.
